Exercise 4, Chapter 3 – Enumerating your hardware
Using lspci, dmesg, and any other logging utilities, discover the following about your Kali host:
- Type of CPU on your Kali host.
- Type, make and model of Ethernet adapter
- Type, make and model Graphics card
- Version of the running kernel.
- Free memory
- Free disk space
Please note that if you are having trouble with basic Linux commands and concepts, you should strongly consider taking a free Linux course (like this one) before continuing your Kali training. Remember, Kali Linux in not for Linux beginners!
